| Description: | Performs troubleshooting, service, repairs, spring startup and fall winterization of primarily residential landscape irrigation systems. Qualifications include a high school diploma or the equivalent, and 1 year experience installing, repairing, or servicing commercial and residential irrigation piping systems and controls. The ability to use a handheld electronic device (PDA) for completing work orders, tracking time and supplies to keep accurate records of repairs. JOB DUTIES: Identifying faulty or problematic parts, repairing or replacing parts when appropriate; locating and repairing leaks, digging to view parts of the irrigation system; retrieving needed parts and equipment from suppliers; possibly operating machinery and equipment such as trenchers; handling tools such as saws, hammers, and drills; wiring irrigation clocks; completing necessary paperwork. May work with installation department or assist with annual testing/repair of irrigation backflow devises. The company does offer on-going training and opportunities to obtain industry certifications through outside programs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • High School Graduation • 1 year work knowledge and paid experience in specific industry, or equivalent vocational school completion in areas such as plumbing, electrician, or golf course and landscape maintenance • Valid NC Drivers License – ability to drive company truck/vehicle • Availability to work additional hours during peak seasons CONTACT INFO: Call Rainmaker Inc.
