| Description: | Production Manager – Landscape Management HERMES LANDSCAPING is conducting a search to locate the most experienced and capable Production Manager in the green industry. We are a high volume operation, intent on continued growth. To be considered you must be able to manage our existing and tackle the challenges of future growth. The ability to communicate in Spanish and English is extremely helpful but not required. CLT/CLP a plus. To qualify you should be an experienced turf manager or landscaper with management and business acumen. You will oversee & coordinate all production activities for this multi-million dollar division including, enhancement, mowing, horticultural services, turf and ornamental, irrigation maintenance and repair and snow removal. With the assistance of one supervisor this position is directly responsible for crew productivity, job costs and overall quality of work performed by the crews. Play a pivotal role with one of the country’s premier Landscape Maintenance divisions. Hermes is a dynamic, team-focused company with a 45-year history of success. Additional Skill Sets: • Manage productivity of crews through efficient routing, equipment/supply usage, and by directly observing work of crews in the field to identify ways to improve. • Schedule and supervise production, delivery, and installation activities. • Analyze job costs and keep in line with contract pricing. • Coordinate crew assignments to complete projects. • Analyze future needs, forecasting staff and material needs to complete future jobs. • Staff development to include cross-training of staff and performance evaluations. • Identify and develop Crew Leaders. • Continuous development of industry and management knowledge. • Subject matter expert in the field of landscape management. Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or Turf Management. • Minimum of fives years of management and supervisory experience in related field. • Basic knowledge of computer applications. • Basic knowledge of green industry trends and practices. • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
