For over forty-five years, Senninger Irrigation Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of irrigation sprinklers, spray nozzles and pressure regulators. Senninger is currently seeking an outside sales manager to promote the sales of product into agricultural, industrial, and turf irrigation markets in the Central US. This is a home-based, outside sales position requiring extensive in-territory travel. Occasional out of territory travel is required for training and other events. Experience in sales, customer relations, product presentation, and knowledge of computer business software are necessary to manage an existing dealer network. Candidates must possess an aptitude for relationship building and demonstrate an initiative-driven work ethic. Other required skills include tradeshow abilities, presentation of educational seminars, strong follow up on sales and product application leads, and evaluation of new sales outlets.
Job requirements: o Irrigation background in ag and turf applications o Strong technical knowledge base – specifically in water hydraulics and irrigation scheduling o 3+ years successful direct outside sales experience o BS degree required, or equivalent experience o Exceptional communication and follow-up skills o Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to practice good time management skills o A safe driving record o Non-smoker
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) o Manage distribution channels o Travel 1/2 to 2/3 of the time o Product promotion and presentation o Ability to use good stewardship of company resources
